Emergency rooms don’t have to be a stressful place for your kids, either. Our board-certified physicians have special training in pediatric emergency care. We have experience treating infants, young kids and adolescents with all types of medical emergencies. Our staff remains calm and reassuring as we help make your child as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Whether you or a loved one has a sports injury, high fever, animal bite or open wound, we are prepared. Rest assured, our board-certified physicians and highly trained staff can treat a wide range of medical emergencies, including seizures, strokes and heart attacks. If you can’t safely get to the nearest ER or you need treatment immediately, call 911.

At UF Health Emergency & Urgent Care Centers, we have state-of-the-art technology needed for emergency situations. Our lab testing and advanced imaging services are on-site so we can quickly — and accurately — diagnose your medical condition and begin treating you right away.
Our radiology equipment includes computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and X-ray. Specially trained radiology technicians provide timely evaluations to ensure physicians understand your condition and can offer the comprehensive care you need.
And if you only need urgent care services during your visit, our fair billing practices ensure you’ll only pay urgent care (not emergency room) fees.
